Steve Jobs, the Apple founder and former CEO, who invented the personal computer, iPod, iPhone and other great gadgets which helped everyday life passed away on October 6, 2011.
Jobs started Apple in 1976 in high school with a friend in Silicon Valley. The company was forced out a decade later. In 1997 the company was rescued and became the most valuable technology company in the world.
Jobs fought cancer in 2004 and received a liver transplant in 2009. He resigned in August.
Steve Paul Jobs was born February 24, 1955, in San Francisco to Joanne Simpson who gave Jobs for adoption. Steve was adopted by Clara and Paul Jobs of Los Altos, California. The couple nurtured his interest in technology.
In 1989 Jobs met his wife, Laurene Powell, a student from Stanford’s Graduate Business School and married her when she became pregnant.
After fighting for his health Jobson unfortunately passed away. His last invention was the iPhone 4s.
