La Porte Boys Cross Country team competed at the Lake Houston Invitational

This weekend the La Porte Boys Cross Country team competed at the Lake Houston Invitational. It was a very one sided meet with us having won both the Varsity and JV in a convincing fashion.
The varsity won by an insurmountable margin the results are as follows.
- Gustavo Aguilera- 1st place 16:29 (one second off his pr)
- Wyssam Zaban- 6th place, 17:29 pr
- Kyle Haynes- 8th place 17:37
- Cameron Avina- 9th place 17:40
- Jordan Claypool- 10th place 17:43
- Henry Blanchard- 11th place 17:48
- Erik Cantu- 14th place 18:21
There were 76 runners in this race and 8 teams.
The JV won by an even larger margin of victory scoring a perfect score placing in the first 8 spots.

There were 56 runners in this race. Coach Johnson says, “we have our District meet coming up on October 27th at Northwest Park starting with the varsity races at 9:00am”. Please wish them luck as they go for a second strait district championship, it will be a good race between us and North Shore.
